In that stop, Kewanee Police arrested 39 year old Eric Damm of Kewanee for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Talking on his Cellphone While Driving and Disobeying a Traffic Control Device.
At approximately 10:09 Pm on Friday night Kewanee Police initiated a traffic stop in the area of Central and Elm Street in Kewanee. In that stop, Kewanee Police arrested Krista V. Elgin of Kewanee on charges of Driving While License Suspended, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended Registration, Failure to Secure a Child Under 8 Years Old, and Possession of a Suspended Driver’s License. Elgin also had a valid warrant from Henry County for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. She was arrested and Posted Bond and was released.
At approximately 10:25 Pm Kewanee Police initiated a Traffic Stop in the are of McClure and Whitney. In this stop, Kewanee Police cited Kimberly A. Christian of Kewanee for Failure to Wear a Seatbelt and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
On Saturday at approximately 3:55 Pm, Kewanee Police initiated a traffic stop in the area of 5th and East Street. In this stop, Kewanee Police arrested 33 year old Christopher J. Kidd of Kewanee for Driving While Revoked and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
At approximately 9:52 Pm on Saturday night, Kewanee Police initiated a traffic stop in the area of the 200 Block of Main Street. In that stop, Kewanee Police cited Carla Ogorzalek for Disobeying a Traffic Control Device.
At approximately 10:38 Pm Kewanee Police initiated a traffic stop in the area of East and Rollins. In that stop, Kewanee Police cited Roderick A. Flagg for having an Expired Registration.
At approximately 1:26 Am on Sunday morning, Kewanee Police initiated a traffic stop in the area of 4th and Grace in that stop, Kewanee Police arrested Aaron J. Demers of Clark County, Kentucky, on a Clark County warrant for Failure to appear on a charge of Maintaining a Nuisance, Unlawful Possession of a Legend Drug, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Endangering Another Person. Demers was taken to the Henry County Jail.
At approximately 2:33 Am on Sunday morning, Kewanee Police were called to a scene in the 600 Block of Pleasant Street. At the scene, Kewanee Police arrested 30 year old Louis A. Vernay of Kewanee, on charges including Domestic Battery, Criminal Trespass to a Residence, and Criminal Damage to property.Vernay was taken from the scene to the Henry County Jail.
