On Friday, March 22nd, at approximately 11:42 Am, Kewanee Police were called to the scene of an accident in the area of the 550 Block of Franklin Street. At the scene, Kewanee Police found an accident in which a vehicle driven by Hadyn J Motley of Kewanee struck a parked vehicle owned by Judy Spiker Larson of Kewanee. No one was injured and no citations were issued.
At approximately 10:15 Pm Kewanee Police were called to assist a citizen in the area of the 900 Block of Madison. At the scene, Kewanee Police arrested 33 year old Marcus J Taylor of Kewanee for Criminal Trespass with Persons Present.
At approximately 11:32 Pm Kewanee Police made a traffic stop in the 500 Block of Main Street. In that stop, Kewanee Police arrested 25 year old Ravin Russell of Kewanee on a Stark County warrant for Failure to Appear on a charge of Driving While Suspended and 2 citations for Failure to Secure a Child Under 8 Years old. Bond was posted. In that same traffic stop, Kewanee Police cited 59 year old Chastity McKnight of Kewanee for Operating a Vehicle with No Evidence of Registration, Improper Use of Registration and Driving with No Insurance.
At approximately 12:02 on Saturday morning Kewanee Police made a traffic stop in the area of Dwight and Mill Street. In that stop, Kewanee Police arrested 22 year old Cassidy E Lynes of Kewanee for DUI Over .08, Speeding 43 miles per hour in a 30 mile per hour zone, Failure to Stop at a Signal, Open Alcohol Container, Failure to Signal a Turn, Possession of Cannabis 2.5 grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
At approximately 8:44 Am on Saturday, Kewanee Police were called to the 400 Block of West Central regarding a mental patient. At the scene, Kewanee Police arrested Francisco Torres Paredes on charges of OP Violation, Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Trespass and Criminal Damage to property/
At approximately 2:50 Pm on Saturday afternoon, Kewanee Police were called to the scene of an accident. At the scene, Kewanee Police found an accident involving 29 year old Benjamin M Wright of Princeton, whose vehicle had struck a vehicle owned by Marie L Stontz. No one was injured in the accident and no citations were issued.
