Regional Media Movie Review Can We Take a Joke?

Can We Take a Joke? Is a documentary about the growing concern many free speech advocates have over the changing opinions of free speech among millenials, specifically those on today's college campuses. Comedians, predominately, are meeting an attitude at more and more colleges that seems not merely eager to be offended but eager to do something about what offends them, even if that means defying freedom of speech. Here's my review of Can We Take a Joke?

Regional Media Movie Review The Purge Election Year

The Purge Election Year stars Frank Grillo, reprising his role from the last film, only this time as a security professional for a Presidential candidate played by Elizabeth Mitchell. Mitchell's Senator is running on a platform to end the annual Purge, the annual one night every year when all crime is legal, including murder. Naturally, this makes her a target of The New Founding Fathers, the behind the scenes politicos who instituted the Purge years ago and profit greatly from it. The NFF will use the Purge as a chance to kill the Senator and it will be up to Grillo to protect her and get her through the night with the help of some good samaritans. Here's my review of The Purge Election Year.
