You've had a few years to get used to making donations to the Salvation Army Angel Tree but there are some who may be new to the process. Amber Patch Troxell joined WKEI on Friday's edition of Tuned In to talk about the Angel Tree and we used the opportunity to provide a refresher on how the Angel Tree works. Trees are placed at local businesses with tags on them. Each tag represents a child's wishlist...

Once you have pulled a tag off of the tree and purchased the items on the tag what's next?

You only have until December 9th to get an angel off the tree and deliver your donation to Amber Patch Troxell or to the Salvation Army but that deadline may be extended a little to accomodte a shortened Angel Tree season...

The parents of kids receiving gifts via the Angel Tree program pick up the presents on December 19th.
