A project launched in 2017 to improve Richmond Hill Park in Geneseo has come a long way toward those improvements thanks to grants and a various generous citizenship. The City of Geneseo is raising funds for more than $1 million of a long term $5 million dollar plan to remake Richmond Hill Park. Geneseo City administrator Jo Hollenkamp was our guest on People to People on WKEI on Tuesday and talked about the planned upgrades... 

So where is the money coming from for this ambitious project? Grants were the first part with more than $400,000 in grant funds applied for and received for the project as Jo Hollenkamp explains... 

The City of Geneseo has committed around $200,000 for the projects and donations have been brought in via a social media campaign that invites people to drop by Geneseo City Hall and make a donation or make donations via a Paypal link on the City of Geneseo website and City of Geneseo Facebook page.
