The OSF Healthcare King Care-A-Van will be taking part in the festivities at Kewanee Hog Days. The King Care-A-Van is the mobile health care center that launched with OSF earlier this year to help bring health care services to under-served areas of Henry, Bureau, Putnam and LaSalle Counties. Funded by the OSF Healthcare Foundation, the King Care-A-Van is named for Don and Val King of Manlius, advocates for rural healthcare. The King Care-A-Van will be parked downtown and offer those attending Kewanee Hog Days the opportunity to get complimentary blood pressure screenings. In addition, Beth Looney, Behavioral Health Navigator, will be sharing information about Silver Cloud. Interactive health and wellness game for kids and while supplies last, free bottles of cold water will be distributed. The King Care-A-Van will be open for business in downtown Kewanee from 12 Noon until 3:30 Pm on Saturday, August 31st.
