Dora and the Lost City of Gold opens nationwide this weekend as well as right here in Kewanee at the Wanee Cinemas. This live action adaptation of the popular series for small children takes Dora in a more teenage direction, taking her from the actual jungle to the jungle known as a modern American High School. That change of scenery doesn't last long however, as Dora, played by Isabella Moner and her cousin Diego (Jeffrey Wahlberg) and two classmates, Randy (Nicholas Coombe) and Sammy (Madeline Madden) are kidnapped by treasure hunters and taken to the jungle to track down Dora's parents, Cole (Michael Pena) and Elena (Eva Longoria) who are on the trail of the Lost City of Gold. Stars Isabella Moner and Jeffrey Wahlberg say that there is plenty for fans of the original cartoons to enjoy among the updates to the character in live action form...
