Governor JB Pritzker is hailing the Senate vote to raise the minimum wage. Senate Bill 1, which passed the Senate in a party line vote on Thursday, would gradually raise the minimum wage to $15.00 per hour over a 6 year period, now heads to the House of Representative where it could be altered before going to the Governor's desk where it is expected to be signed regardless of any changes from House members.
