Sara Billiet from the Kewanee Public Library was our guest on Thursday's edition of Tuned In on WKEI. Sara was on hand to announce that the Kewanee Public Library will be open on Monday, January 21st, Martin Luther King Jr Day. The Kewanee Public Library will have two programs dedicated to Dr King that day beginning with an event for kids hosted by Americorps from 10 Am until 2 Pm. And then on the evening of the 21st, there will be a second program featuring a new documentary on a civil rights hero named Alice Tregay who marched with and worked alongside Martin Luther King during the civil rights era. That program will also be free and will feature a conversation with the director of the documentary. Sara Billiet discussed these programs and more in our Tuned In Podcast.
