The wild and wacky world of donkey basketball will take place on Tuesday, March 7th at H.F. Brockman gymnasium at Kewanee High School.

The event is being sponsored by the Kewanee High School FFA and will begin at 6:30 on Tuesday evening. It will be a doubleheader donkey extravaganza as game one will feature Kewanee versus Galva and game two will feature Stark County against Geneseo.

The Dairyland Donkey Basketball Show is played on real, live donkeys and it will be wilder than a rodeo and funnier than a circus. It will also feature local players who will be riding the donkeys and it’s simply the game of basketball, only the players ride the donkeys the entire time as they play the game.

Ticket prices are set at $7 in advance and can be purchased at the Kewanee High School Office, also the Galva, Geneseo and Stark County High School Offices.

The proceeds will benefit the Kewanee, Galva, Geneseo and Stark County FFA Chapters and tickets can also be purchased from any of those FFA members.

Tickets will be available at the door on Tuesday night at a cost of $10 with pre-school students admitted free of charge.
