GED classes will resume Monday, Oct. 17 at the Black Hawk College Community Education Center in downtown Kewanee.

“Students come for their GED because they know it will help them get a job or they need it for more advanced training, like welding or automotive repair,” said David Harris, Community Education Center coordinator.

“We teach them how to get their GED and how to study so they graduate sooner,” he added.

GED classes are from 9 a.m. to noon Monday-Friday at the Community Education Center, 404 E. Third St., Kewanee. Adult Education classes are provided at no cost to learners who qualify.

To register or for more information, call the Community Education Center at 309-854-1875.
