Blues Outplay Blackhawks

Jaden Schwartz fired in two goals for St. Louis in a 3-1 win over the Blackhawks.  Patrik Berglund also scored for the Blues helping St. Louis lock up home ice in the first-round of the playoffs with the four seed in the West.  Brian Elliott had 22 saves for the Blues and Carter Hutton racked up 25 for the Hawks.  Ben Smith had the lone goal for Chicago in the loss.  The Western Conference leading Blackhawks finished the season with a record of 36-7-and-5 to capture their second Presidents' Trophy, while St. Louis wrapped up at 29-17-and-2.  Chicago will face the Minnesota Wild in the first round.  The Blues will meet the defending champion Los Angeles Kings.
