Boston's Ortiz Blames Day Games For Cubs Lack Of Success

Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz believes he knows what is ailing the Chicago Cubs.  "Big Papi" says playing too many day games is the reason the Cubs haven't been a consistent winner over the years.  The World Series MVP says Chicago is a great baseball town where players are excited to play, but the schedule mentally wears them down.  Most games at Wrigley Field are still played during the day even after lights were installed in 1988.  Ortiz says it's too hard for players to adjust from a block of day games, then mostly night games on the road as well as dealing with different time zones.
