Marian Hossa, Kris Versteeg and Bryan Bickell all scored to give the Blackhawks a three-goal lead, and they held on to beat the Ducks 4-2 at the United Center. Hossa added an empty-netter with under 10 seconds to play as Chicago has won two of its last three. Corey Crawford made 19 saves in net for the victors. Ryan Getzlaf and Kyle Palmieri both scored in the third period for Anaheim, which is now only four points up on Chicago for the best record in the NHL. Jonas Hiller stopped 31 shots in the loss. The Ducks had won eight in-a-row coming into the contest.
