Nearly half the teams in Major League Baseball are being viewed as possible landing spots for Japanese right-hander Masahiro Tanaka. The Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles of Nippon Professional Baseball have posted the 25-year-old pitcher for bidding. Tanaka was reportedly in Los Angeles this weekend meeting with a number of MLB teams, but is now back in Japan. Some suggest Tanaka is interested in playing for a big-market team. The Yankees, Cubs, Mariners, Dodgers, Red Sox, Angels, White Sox and Diamondbacks have all been rumored to express interest.
