Wyoming – Lois E. Talbert Robbins Wilson, 102, of Wyoming, passed away at 5:40 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Seminary Manor in Galesburg.
Lois was born August 1, 1912, in Stringtown, Illinois, the daughter of William and Sarah Babcock Talbert. She married Lyle E. Robbins on June 7, 1930, in Wyoming. He died September 5, 1957. She later married Winifred Wilson on February 9, 1964, in Wyoming. He died March 20, 1972, in Wyoming.
Surviving are her children, Homer (Sue) Robbins of Princeville, Mary Jane (Leonard) Tilson of Princeville, Bonita (Gene) Brailey of Old Hickory, TN, Judy (Mike) Fesler of Danville, IA, and Stephen (Maria) Robbins of Miami, FL; step-son, Don (Betty) Wilson of Tucson, AZ; 22 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Edith Robbins of Orrville, OH, and Pat Robbins of Dunlap; and brother-in-law, Richard Bauer of Wyoming. She was preceded in death by three sons, Lyle, John, and Lloyd, daughter and son-in-law, Lois Ann and Ralph Bouton, four sisters, and seven brothers.
Lois was a member of the Wyoming United Methodist Church and the Wyoming American Legion Women’s Auxiliary for many years.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at Haskell-Hott Funeral Homes in Wyoming. Rev. Sue Robbins will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2014, at Haskell-Hott Funeral Homes in Wyoming. Burial will be in Toulon Cemetery.
