Kimberli Ann Adams, 35, of Naperville, IL formerly of Annawan, IL passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 13, 2014 at her home. A Funeral Mass celebrating Kimberli’s life will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Annawan, IL. Father Stephen Engelbrecht will celebrate. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Sheffield, IL. Visitation for Kimberli will be 4- 7 PM Monday, February 17th at Vandemore Funeral Home, Atkinson, IL. Memorials may be left to the Educational Fund for her daughter, Brooklyn Deanni.
Kimberli was born April 4, 1978 in Geneseo, IL the daughter of Bruce and Deann (Shaw) Crosby. She was a graduate of Annwan High School, and Illinois State University where she studied accounting, fashion merchandising, and design. She was united in marriage to Luke D. Adams on June 25, 2011 in Davenport, IA. Kimberli was currently working at Auto-Art in the accounting department in Glenview, IL.
Kimberli had attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Annawan. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and friends, as well as scrapbooking with her sister, boating, vacations to the beaches in Florida, and Black Friday Shopping with her family. Her greatest joy was being a new mother to Brooklyn and a wife to Luke.
Survivors include her husband: Luke of Naperville, daughter: Brooklyn Deanni at home; parents: Bruce and Deann Crosby of Sheffield; sisters and brothers in law: Heidi and Michael Wise and niece Victoria Crosby of Normal, IL and Misti and Michael Thurston and nephew and niece Dylan and Hailey Thurston of Annawan; grandmother: Dorothy Crosby of Geneseo: mother-in-law: Elaine (Leo) Edmondson of Rock Island, IL; father-in-law: Dan Adams of Matherville, IL; sister-in-law and bother-in-law: Emilee and Dan Dalton and niece Olivia Dalton of Matherville, IL;
Step-brothers –in-law and step-sister-in-law: Jamie, Jeff, and Jay Edmondson; Luke’s grandparents: Tom and Janet Harris of Matherville, IL and Mary Adams of Viola, IL, her beloved dog, Cassie, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Donald Crosby and Perle and Dorothy Shaw.
