Carol S. Wager, 70, of Kewanee, Il. died at 9:18 P.M. Sunday, November 24, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 30, 2o13 at the Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home, Kewanee, Il. Rev. Paul Copeland of the First United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Kewanee, Il. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. Friday, November 29, 2013 at the funeral home. Carol was born February 5, 1943 in Kewanee, Il. the daughter of Charles and Mildred (Harlan) Libby. She attended both Kewanee and Wethersfield schools graduating in 1961 from WHS.
Carol married Larry Wager June 30, 1963 at the First United Methodist Church in Kewanee. He survives along with her mother Mildred of Geneseo, Il. one son Roger (Paula) Wager of Normal, Il. three daughters Jill Wager and her friend April Calhoun of Hutchinson, Kansas, Lori (Adam) Oliver of Kewanee, Michelle (Brian) Vincent of Fisher, Il., seven grandchildren Andrew, Allison, Nathan, Megan, Ashley, Zander and Kolt. She was preceded in death by her father Charles in 1993 and a brother Gary Libby in 1970.
Carol was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kewanee and its Seekers Sunday School class, United Methodist Women, M & M’s and was membership chairman of the Kewanee Woman’s Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
