Lonni J Pritchard, 57, of Harrington, DE, formerly of Annawan, IL passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013 at his home. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Vandemore Funeral Home, Geneseo. Rev. Joe Kobernant will officiate. Burial will be 11 AM Monday, December 2nd at SugarCreekCemetery, Glenarm, IL. Visitation will be 2 hours before the service (9-11 AM) at the funeral home. In liew of flowers, memorials may be left to the Charlotte and Lonni Pritchard Lake Forest Scholarship Fund. Following the services at the funeral home Saturday, the family invites everyone to FirstBaptistChurch in Geneseo for a luncheon and time of fellowship.
Lonni was born June 25, 1956 in Kewanee, IL the son of Harold and Venita (Wolf) Pritchard. He was a 1974 graduate of AnnawanHigh School.
Lonni attended Blackhawk East Jr. College where he was on the livestock judging team. He then finished his education at the Southern Illinois University where he received his BS and met his future wife, Charlotte. Locally, Lonni helped coach Delaware 4-H and FFA students at livestock judging as well as officiate livestock judging at the Delaware State Fair. Lonni was a member of the Farm Bureau.
Lonni was an agriculture salesman. He used to work for Schiffs, but most recently with Williards Co. He enjoyed working and showing livestock, as well as golfing. He loved to watch his daughter Cheyanne in all her sporting events. He was a funny, outgoing person who was always smiling and having a good time. He was overjoyed when he finally became a grandpa and enjoyed spoiling his granddaughter. He will be sadly missed.
Survivors include daughter, Cheyanne Pritchard of Harrington, DE ; mother, Venita Pritchard of Geneseo, IL; brothers, Dr. Robbi (Terry) Pritchard of Aurora, South Dakota, Joddi Pritchard of Harrington, DE, J. Harli (Trish) Pritchard of Geneseo, IL; Laurie Pritchard of Geneseo, IL; granddaughter, Harbor Marie Landry; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law: Henrietta Sisk, of Diveron, IL.
Lonnie is preceded in death by wife, Charlotte; his father, Harold; daughter, Trisha Leah, and his grandparents.
