MOLINE - William F. Hasch, 76, of Moline, formerly of Marshalltown, IA, passed away at 11:25 AM, Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Riverwood Rehab in East Moline.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 26 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Rev. Martin Gutzmer will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens in rural Kewanee where military rites will be accorded by the Kewanee Veterans Council. Memorials may be directed to any hospice organization.
He was born October 21, 1937 in Marshalltown, IA, the son of Waldo and Lenora Ann (Belt) Hasch. He married Mary Ellen Lee on July 2, 1983 in Rock Island and she preceded him in death on March 23, 1993. Survivors include his daughter, Nancy (Jack) West of East Moline, two grandchildren, Stormy Sutton of East Moline and Stoney Sutton of Arizona and a cousin, Mary Cox of Davenport, IA. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Margaret Kilker.
William served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked at George Evans Corporation in Moline for 36 years until his retirement in 1999.
