The Baker Park Golf Course and the 19th Hole Restaurant are open once again for the season.
Golfers are not allowed on the golf course until the frost fades away and the restaurant is open for breakfast and as long as the golfers are out on the course.
Another outdoor function through the Kewanee Park District is the use of the various shelter houses and pagodas in the parks.
Brian Johnson is the Director of Parks and Recreation with the Kewanee Park District and he says those facilities are available to the general public…
Johnson emphasizes that if nobody has rented a shelter house or pagoda, then they are available on a first come first serve basis. But if they have been rented, then that facility is for the day for the party that has made the reservation in advance…
If you would like a shelter house or pagoda, then best to contact the Park District to get your reservation on the books. Otherwise,,it’s a roll of the dice as to whether or not that facility will be available…
That’s Brian Johnson, Director of Parks and Recreation with the Kewanee Park District.
