Illinoisans who've recently purchased a bag of Dole salad may want to think twice before eating it. The company has issued a recall on 756 cases of bagged lettuce because they're tainted with salmonella poisoning. The bags have a "use by" date of April 11th, 2012 stamped on the upper right hand corner of the bag. No illnesses have been reported as a result of the contamination but anyone who's purchased the lettuce should toss it in the trash.
