Keeping Your Home Warm In Extreme Cold

Heating your home can be a chore when the weather is this cold.  But there are a few things you can do to keep the heat in and save a bit of money.  Members of the Citizen’s Utility Board say sealing leaks in windows, doors, and exhaust fans will help.  It’s also a good idea to clean or replace filters for a forced-air heating system. Circulate the heat with the help of a ceiling fan.  In the winter, run the fan clockwise to pull warm air down from the ceiling.
