A pair of Geneseo teens are leading the way locally as part of a nationwide climate change protest. Emily and Elizabeth Yost of Geneseo are organizing a sister march to the nationwide Zero Hour Climate March set for July 21st in Washington D.C with sister marches around the country including one in Geneseo. 

The march is aimed at teenagers who are demanding an end to Washington D.C's business as usual approach to climate change. For their part. the march being organized by Emily and Elizabeth will feature multiple speakers and be attended by teens from across Henry County. Elizabeth Yost tells us that several speakers at the march have been lined up... 

What inspired Emily and Elizabeth to get involved with the Zero Hour Climate Watch?

Anyone who is interested is welcomed to attend the Zero Hour Climate March in Geneseo though the event is aimed at teenagers. If you'd like to attend and show your support the Zero Hour Climate Change March in Geneseo will be July 21st at 10 Am in Geneseo City Park on Pearl Street.
