The first project will take place at Pigeon Creek Park on Saturday, October 21 from 9:00 a.m. - Noon. Volunteers will be cleaning out invasive plants, pruning trees, and picking up garbage in the park. The park is located along the Mississippi River at 6729 Shutters Lane. Directions: Take US67 east to Shoreline Drive, turn right and head south to Marigil Lane. Turn left on Marigil and back along the river to the park.

The second project will take place on Saturday, October 28 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Edgewood Park at 1400 23rd Street. Volunteers and staff will be planting, staking, and mulching 28 trees in the park. Volunteers are asked to bring shovel or rake. Tools will be provided to those who cannot bring their own.

The third project will take place on Saturday, November 11 from 9:00 a.m. – Noon. Volunteers will be pruning and mulching the existing trees at Edgewood and Lincoln Parks.  Volunteers are asked to bring a pair of pruning loppers or tree saw. Tools will be provided to those who cannot bring their own.

Volunteers are encouraged to wear clothing appropriate for the weather, bring work gloves if possible, and be prepared to get a little dirty
